My server or as I like to call it my homelab.

As I said yesterday, I was going to make a post about my server and what I use it for, so here we go.

To start off, no, the server specifications of my home server are not spectacular at all, but does its job. I bought it secondhand 5 years ago and it's the best buy I ever did, since I had a lot of fun with it since then and it does its job very well.

So what do I use it for, well first of all I used it to learn a bit about Linux and more specifically Ubuntu. In the beginning I used a desktop environment, but now I only run a command line interface and I do use a Remote Desktop Environment from time to time.

I used to run a Garry's Mod server on there as well as a MineCraft server, but nowadays I have a Perforce server on there, as well as, an OwnCloud server, a TeamSpeak server and an Apache webserver with some small site's hosted on there, including this one. I'm in no way an expert in Linux, but I do usually find my way around things in my free time.

PS:Here is the example code of Virtual Functions vs Flags, this was tested on 3 different PC's with varying results although all positive. If you have different results, I would like to hear them.

Till Next Time.
